Payment Policy

Payment MUST be made in full before Empire Invites can create and proof your design.

CASH PAYMENTS: Can slow down the Proof/delivery times as your card will not be created by our team until payment is delivered

PAYPAL/CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Are received instantly and your proof will be created according to our delivery timeline schedule

Proofing and Delivery time

Once your design is created, a proof of your card will be sent via email for acceptance, before being printed. Up to 3 free re-proof changes are allowed on each ordered design. If a customer has made 3 changes and requires more, they must purchase additional changes at $15 each HERE. Any delays in a customer viewing or accepting their proof will, in turn, delay the delivery time of the order. See delivery timeline schedule

Changes to Customer’s Order

Changes to customer’s quantity, graphic design components, fonts, wording, etc… can be made during the proof process. Once the customer approves their proof, the product is ordered and is no longer eligible for changes.

Customer Approval

We trust our customers to make sure that their spelling, grammar, colors, and all other printed content is correct in the proofs they receive. Customers are responsible for reporting all necessary corrections before indicating their approval to send the job to production. Empire Invites cannot be held liable in any way for errors in spelling, grammar, color and all other printed content once the proof has been approved by the customer. Customers are obligated to pay all original and additional costs in the event that an order needs to be reprinted due to errors that existed in an approved proof.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Cancellations made before a proof is started is eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made during the proofing process will be subject to an administration/proofing fee of $100.00.
Orders canceled after proof approval have already been printed and therefore cannot receive a refund.
Orders cannot be refunded due to delays in international orders due to customs.

Design Fees

Orders with a quantity of 30 will be subject to a $65 design fee (automatically added to checkout).
Orders with a quantity of 40 will be subject to a $35 design fee (automatically added to checkout).
Orders with a quantity of 50+ have no design fee.

For custom designs, the custom design fee is charged when a customer commissions Empire Invites to create a completely unique piece (i.e. not a products from our Signature Collections). Design fees vary from $75 for a basic design to $275 or more for complex design work. Fees charged for custom work are fully non-refundable.


Empire Invites is proud of our strong history of excellence and we aim to exceed customer’s expectations in our products and our service. However, customers should inspect the order carefully once it arrives! If, for any reason, the customer is not satisfied with their order, the customer should contact us within three (3) business days of receipt of delivery. We will evaluate the request at that time and determine how to address it. We cannot honor requests to repair or replace damaged goods if the request is submitted more than fourteen (14) days after the order is shipped.

Product Selection & Offering

All prices, product designs, and their accessories are subject to change without notice. Product supplies can be discontinued by our supplier(s). Empire Invites may still be able to fulfill a customer’s order if such product or supplies have been discontinued, but cannot guarantee such order fulfillment. If a customer has ordered a sample or expressed interest in a design or material that is no longer available, he/she should contact us directly to determine if fulfillment is possible.

Retainer payments for future orders

Retainer payments made to empireinvites.ca in order to obtain a discount on future orders are non-refundable. When a retainer payment is made the customer will be given a discount code towards their future order when they are ready to place it. This discount code does not expire.

Advertising and Marketing

Empire Invites reserves the right to use any and all products designed and produced by its staff for advertising and marketing purposes, whether such creation is a custom order or otherwise. This use also includes, but is not limited to using customer testimonials and customer designs as product samples, in photographs, and in advertisements. This applies to all marketing and advertising by Empire Invites both online, verbal media and in print. If a customer is opposed to any aspect of his/her design being used in this manner, the customer must notify us in writing at the time of order placement.

Ownership & Proprietary Rights

All designs and graphical representations and rights, title and interest of any printed materials created by Empire Invites, whether custom order or otherwise, are the sole and exclusive property of Empire Invites. The products and content represented on www.empireinvites.ca and in printed marketing material may not be reproduced in any fashion without the expressed written consent of Empire Invites.

Image copyright and permission

By uploading or providing images for your design you represent and warrant that you are the owner of, and/or have the rights and permission to access and use the images. Professional images that are provided to you by professional photographers or made available through websites, magazines, books or other resources may not be used through the Service without express consent of the copyright holder.


Ownership and responsibility for risk of loss to any ordered products passes to customer upon delivery by third party shipping company. Empire Invites reserves the right, but is not required to insure any such products with the third party shipping company until delivery confirmation is received. Customer should notify Empire Invites immediately if customer believes part of the order is missing, wrong or damaged.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Empire Invites will not be liable for any failure to perform any of its obligations during any period in which such performance is delayed or made impossible by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as fire, flood, war, embargo, strike, riot or the intervention of any governmental authority. For international orders, Empire Invites is not responsible for delays due to Customs holding a package for inspection. If held, Customs can hold a package for up to 30 days (but typically 5-7) and is beyond our control. This possible delay should be considered in your delivery timeline before placing your order.


Your entered data will be used to create your design, manage access to your account, and for other purposes described in our privacy policy.


Empire Invites strives to make sure customer’s products are created and delivered in accordance with the customer’s ordered specifications. However, it makes no other implied or expressed representations or warranties as to the fitness or use of customer’s product for a specific purpose.


Empire Invites cannot accept liability beyond the remedies set forth in these terms and conditions and the customers order details. This limitation shall include, but not be limited to any liability for product not being available for use, lost profits, loss of business or any other damages. Except as otherwise expressly provided herein Empire Invites will not be liable for any consequential, special, indirect or punitive damages and in any such event Empire Invites liability for any claim of loss shall be limited to the product order price paid by the customer.
